“MKF Connect” launches “Nahj” , an initiative to nurture outstanding local talents in sports and arts in collaboration with Mazad
MKF Connect announces the launch of its new intiative, “Nahj” aimed at nurturing outstanding local talents in sports and arts, through a strategic partnership signed with Mazad and the Bahrain Football Association. Under this partnership, Mazad’s innovative platform will showcase outstanding local artworks and rare sports memorabilia from the recent Gulf Cup 26’, donated by champion national football team players. The proceeds from this auction will be used to empower the upcoming generation of athletes and artists by providing them with university scholarships.
This collaboration combines Mazad’s expertise in managing electronic auctions with MKF Connect’s initiative to nurture artistic and athletic talents, ensuring that all stakeholders and interested parties have an effective and fruitful experience.
“Nahj” is expected to provide supportive opportunities in creativity and success for Bahraini athletes and artists, and to revolutionize the charitable auction experience. The initiative will ensure that all interested parties and beneficiaries have smooth and transparent charitable auction experience enabled through by the latest tech. It also highlights the shared commitment of all parties involved in the collaboration, focusing on harnessing technological solutions to create change and make a positive impact in the local community.
“Nahj” is MKF Connect’s first initiative and represents the start of many future endeavors in empowering Bahraini youth in sports and arts. The initative will take the form of a public charity auction to be offered through ‘Mazad’, a local portfolio company of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company “Mumtalakat”, responsible for organizing and supervising public and electronic auctions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This step marks the first collaboration between MKF Connect and Mazad.
On this occasion, Her Highness Sheikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa – Founder and Chairperson of the Board, expressed her pride in launching an initiative aimed at supporting emerging atheletes and nurturing talented Bahraini artists. She highlighted the abundance of promising local talent in both sports and the arts, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts alongside partners from various sectors to develop and enhance their potential. She noted that cultivating talent and ensuring its excellence and success are closely tied to quality training and specialized education.
Her Highness emphasized that the “Nahj” initiative is based on three main values: art, empowerment, and sustainability, as it highlights sports and artistic achievements. It also inspires youth to strive for success and reach aspirations, and motivates individuals, entities, and institutions to contribute charitably to purposeful and impactful community initiatives. It is the result of a strategic partnership with leading and specialized entities that combines auction organization expertise, advanced technological solutions, and institutional synergy.”

The name “Nahj” was chosen in celebration of prominent athletes and artists who represent role models and inspire younger generations to follow their path and steps towards success. The initiative’s vision is not limited to collecting donations and charitable contributions, but goes beyond that to include inspiring and empowering talented Bahraini youth in sports and arts, in line with national vison and community aspirations.
